This is a submission to Pirate Software - Game Jam 16

This game was made for the Pirate Software Game Jam 16 from Jan 18th to Feb 1st. 

The game theme was “You are the weapon.” In Alien Park you play as a small invasive (and very cute) parasite designed to destroy.  "You are the weapon" is a declaration of the parasite, instead of wielding traditional weapons, you directly invade and manipulate enemy bodies. Each enemy host is temporary, reinforcing the idea that the parasite itself is the true weapon.

We had an insane amount of fun working on this and hope it shows in the final product!



Known Bugs:

  • Godot 4.3 Bug - Particle effects don't display on AMD Graphics Cards (Flower girl attacks, blood stains, etc...)
  • Can't pause on keyboard while fullscreened

Metroid-esque intro...  I'm in!  
(This was also one of my ideas for a game but it seemed to ambitious for my skill level)  So glad to see someone implement it as finely as you did!

The game oozes with cuteness.  I loved being able to pose behind the cardboard cutouts.  

And extra points for the alien - ferret emoji.
